Man - the mind

Man:

There is the Sanskrit root, man, "to think, meditate, perceive, understand." It is the basis for manu, "thinking, intelligent, mankind" and perhaps "thinking creature" [?]. People are viewed as the ones who are on the road to Enlightenment.
