The Pillars of prosperity

By Jayaram V

How you build your life depends upon what you intend to do with it. Your success, achievement, happiness, goals and dreams should arise from your intrinsic abilities, not from others or from your belief in fate, unless you want to handover the control of your life to them and place more trust and confidence in them than in yourself. If you start early in your life, with definite aims and goals, cultivating certain prerequisites, you have a better chance of achieving success and prosperity early in your life, when you are physically and mentally fit enough to make the best use of them and bear the pressures they create.

The following requirements for success, referred here as the building blocks of life, are timeless. They are required by everyone, irrespective of age, place and gender, who wants, to be successful and distinguished. If you have opened your eyes to the possibilities of success rather late in your life, you may have to work a little harder and longer. It does not mean that you cannot achieve success late in life or that you cannot enjoy it, but that many doors begin to close upon us, as we grow older. However, if you are determined and adaptable, age is hardly a matter of concern.

DISCIPLINE

Discipline does not mean that you have to wake up early in the morning, do meditation and then stick to some daily routine. Many successful people are in fact disciplined this way, with a rigid daily program of their own, such as waking up early, doing some exercises, eating certain types of food at specific times and focusing on the demands of their occupation.

However, there are also some successful people, who wake up late, but manage to live well and achieve success in their professions.
Your sleeping habits depend upon whether you are a late night person or an early morning person. Discipline has nothing to do with it, unless you want to force your body to break its biological rhythm or reset its biological clock.
